Habitat for Humanity of the Mid-Willamette Valley has been serving the community since 1991, working in concert with volunteers, donors, and partner families to build decent, affordable homes. To date, our affiliate has built more than 85 homes, housing more than 400 individuals- including over 300 children.

At HOME, disenfranchised youth find a safe place, caring adults, and opportunities to connect with their community in a positive way.

All people in a democracy have the right and responsibility to take part in the decisions that affect them and their communities. Freedom of speech is vital to a healthy democracy and is guaranteed in the First Amendment. CCTV provides the community with the opportunity for political, cultural, artistic, spiritual, and individual expression on television.

Family Building Blocks has provided Relief Nursery services since 1997, Healthy Families services since 2003, and Early Head Start since 2010.

Our agency (formerly Mid-Valley Women’s Crisis Service) offers a safe refuge and support to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking. Our programs and services inform survivors of their options and support them in their choices. Royal Family Kids Camp's mission is to Create life-changing moments for children of abuse. They uphold values to "Treat People Royally, Keep Moving Forward and Make Moments Matter" Every foster child, ages 6-12, experiences a life-changing Camp and Mentoring Club.

If you love someone who has a disability, or you have one yourself, you know the vast amount of trips to the doctor or physical therapists; much waiting, many tests. One therapy that has been declared almost miraculous by participants is therapeutic riding or equine assisted therapy (EAT). This therapy allows people with disabilities to have a gentle riding experience using specialized equipment to meet their specific need.

Congregations Helping People is an expanding group of Salem churches that have come together to combine resources and work cooperatively to help people in need.

The event has become one of the top draws for the season for the Volcanoes. There will be other local nonprofit agencies and sponsoring businesses host displays to provide information about their services, interact with youth, and encourage positive family friendly activities.

Through our volunteers, CASA of Marion County advocates for abused and neglected children who need safe and permanent homes. To achieve the mission we recruit volunteers from our community, train them so they have the skills and knowledge necessary to advocate for an abused child, and professionally support them so they are able to do this difficult work successfully. There is no other agency or program providing volunteer advocacy to abused and neglected children who are living in foster care.​

SARCF also is responsible for the Mid-Valley Association of REALTORS® Annual Children’s Christmas Party, where lunch and gifts are provided to approximately 150 homeless children in the Salem-Keizer area.

This academic program is designed to address a number of factors that may discourage certain students from attending college or otherwise impede their academic progress. We are committed to helping our students achieve at a level that will enable them to attend the four-year college or university of their choice.
